A magical wedding at Sahita Villa in Canggu, Bali

It is always a privilege to play at someones most sacred day, and today, it was Jorg and Esther’s special day. They flew to Bali all the way from Holland, just for their wedding. The interlude was led in by the warm sounds of the traditional Balinese music. Giving the couple that exotic feeling even from the start of the wedding.

The sound check is done, the guests are seated and the happy couple walks down the isle, Serenaded by their special song. Throughout the wedding the Balinese traditional band keeps playing, Leading the ceremony to new heights as the bride and grooms tears of joy rolls from their cheeks.

After the beautiful ceremony where happy couple made their holy vows, it was time for me to turn the wedding in a celebration! And that is exactly what I did. Setting some hot beats in the DJ booth to build up the momentum, getting the energy high. While the momentum is up, I get down from the booth taking my saxophone with me. Rather than staying in the booth the whole night, I join the crowd playing my saxophone. Walking among the crowd making sure everybody gets on the dace floor. Another night successful night, topping it off with some deep and soulful vocals.

Finally at the end of the night, it was time for my usual encore. The music has already turned down to blues and jazz. So I take out my saxophone one more time, and I play and sing the classics to fulfill my last encore. As the party came to end, it was time for the last song. Hence I played my favorite song, “Stand by me” by the amazing Ben King. Giving the happy couple a last perfect dance to the end of their perfect wedding.
